Keith and his Yamaha PHXKeith Carlock was up from New York with his group RUDDER who recently released their new CD "MATORNING".
Check it out at their myspace page.

They performed at the REX in Toronto April 3 and 4. The standing room only crowd had an opportunity to hear what Yamaha's New ELITE drums called PHX, shown here in Textured Black Sunburst. No microphones at all and these drums were cutting through the mix with tone and sensitivity like a hot knife through butter.

Keith will be touring the rest of the summer with Steely Dan but told us that there are currently no Canadian dates on the tour. You can check out what Keith is up to at www.keithcarlock.com
